In most cultures through the history, honey has been used medicinally, but in the mid-twentieth century in the West was discarded in favor to antibiotics. However, in more recent years, the notion of unheated and unpasteurized medicinal honey has gained the following. The great thing in this rediscovery is that honey had success when it comes to combating drug-resistant wound infections.
Garlic Honey Home Remedy
Ingredients:
  • Full glass jas of raw honey ( since it is more nutritious than store-bought honey)
  • 3 heads of garlic, peeled and separated into cloves (about 24 cloves)

Directions:

Firts fill the jar with garlic cloves and then pour the honey over. After that, leave the mixture for several days to infuse. At the end, store it in the refrigerator where it will keep for a year or more.
What to use garlic honey for:
  • Infections
  • Colds
  • Cuts and grazes
  • Fevers
  • Coughs
Dose: For prevention or as a tonic use half a teaspoonful daily on an empty stomach, on the other hand if you use it for acute infections, you should take half a spoonful up to six times a day.
We recomend you to eat it on an empty stomach because it will be harder for your body to process and absorb all the nutrients the food has to offer if your stomach is overwhelmed with food.
How to Make a Garlic Flu Tonic:
  • 1 part fresh grated ginger root
  • 1 part fresh chopped cayenne peppers or any hot peppers which are available at the moment
  • 1 part fresh chopped garlic
  • 1 part fresh grated horseradish root
  • 1 part fresh chopped onion
  • Raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
  • Fill a glass mason jar ¾ of the way full with equal parts of fresh choped and grated herbs. When chopping the hot peppers, wear gloves.
  • After that, fill the jar with raw apple cide vinegar and close it tightly and shake.
  • You should shake the jar at least once a day for two weeks.After this process, filter the tonic mixture through a clean piece of cloth. At the end bottle it and label it.
